About YoTools

🛠️ What this is

YoTools is a collection of 150 small utilities across 12 categories — PDF and image tools, unit converters, calculators, generators, business document templates, developer and SEO tools, text utilities, icon libraries and a few things that are just fun. There are also 1,884 direct unit-conversion pages, one for each pair of units, so a search for a specific conversion lands on a page about exactly that.

The aim is narrow: each tool should do one job, load fast, and work the first time without an account, an email address, or a paywall halfway through.

🔒 Why nothing is uploaded

Every tool that handles a file does the work inside your browser rather than on a server. When you merge PDFs or convert an image here, the file never leaves your device — there is no upload step, no queue, and nothing to delete afterwards. That is a deliberate design constraint, not a marketing line: a tool that cannot see your file cannot leak it, and there is no copy of your document sitting on a server waiting to be forgotten about.

It also means the tools keep working on a bad connection, and that large files are limited only by your own machine. Two tools do need outside data — the currency converter and the YouTube thumbnail downloader — and the privacy policy explains exactly what those two send and where.

💡 How it is paid for

Advertising, and nothing else. There is no paid tier, no data being sold, and no newsletter harvesting addresses. Ads are served through Google AdSense and you are asked before any advertising or analytics cookie is set; declining does not take any tool away.

YoTools is built and maintained by YoTools, based in India, and has been running since 2026.
