Sale price = Original price × (1 − Discount% ÷ 100). For example, £120 with 25% off = £120 × 0.75 = £90.

Original price = Final price ÷ (1 − Discount% ÷ 100). For example, if you paid £90 after a 25% discount, original = £90 ÷ 0.75 = £120.
QHow do stacked discounts work?
Two sequential discounts are not additive. A 20% discount followed by another 10% discount equals a combined 28% discount, not 30%.
