QWhich resolution should I choose?
Medium (150 DPI) is fine for viewing on screen. Use High (300 DPI) if the image will be printed or you need to read small text. Low (72 DPI) is best when you just need a quick preview.
QWhy is my text blurry in the image?
Converting to an image turns sharp vector text into pixels. Rendering at a higher resolution helps, but if you need crisp text at any zoom you should keep the file as a PDF.
QCan I convert just one page?
Yes. Enter the pages you want in the page box, using the same format as elsewhere on the site, for example 1-3, 7.
QWhy does a large PDF take a while?
Every page is rendered individually in your browser, so time scales with page count and resolution. A long document at 300 DPI is genuinely a lot of pixels to draw.
About This Tool
Pages are rendered with pdf.js onto an HTML canvas at a scale derived from your chosen DPI, then exported through the canvas toDataURL encoder. Multi-page output is bundled client-side with JSZip so the whole conversion, packaging included, happens without any server involvement.
