Marriage Biodata Generator
Create a clean, printable marriage biodata with personal, family, education, and optional horoscope details.
Horoscope details are optional and only appear in the biodata if you fill them in — leave the tab untouched to generate a fully secular biodata.
All data stays in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.
How to Use
- Fill in the "Biodata Details" tab: personal details (with an optional photo), family background, education and career, and contact details.
- Add optional notes on hobbies, interests, and what you're looking for in a partner.
- Switch to the "Horoscope Details" tab only if you want to include astrological details like gotra, nakshatra, rashi, and manglik status — leave it blank for a fully secular biodata.
- Review the live preview, then click "Download PDF" or "Print Biodata".
When to Use This
- A family about to share a profile on a matrimonial site or in a family group gets one clean page instead of a scanned handwritten sheet.
- Someone updating a profile after a job change retypes the two or three fields that moved and prints a fresh page in the same layout.
- Inter-faith and non-observant families leave the second tab untouched, and the finished document then carries no astrological content at all.
- Parents circulating profiles for two siblings produce matching documents, since the section order and the field labels are identical every time.

About This Tool
A marriage biodata is a one-page profile circulated among families, relatives and matchmakers. Its sections are conventional on purpose: personal details, family background, education and career, and contact details appear in roughly the same order on every biodata, so a reader comparing several finds the same fact in the same place each time. Families who match charts expect a horoscope block with birth time and place, gotra, nakshatra, rashi and manglik status; families who do not expect it absent rather than blank.
The form holds a fixed set of fields across two tabs, with the astrological ones on the second. Age is calculated from the date of birth and printed as its own row. Fields marked optional, such as caste, blood group, company and income, are dropped when left empty, and the horoscope section is omitted unless one of its fields has content. An uploaded photo is placed top right.
Notes & Limits
- The field set is fixed: no row can be added, no label renamed, no section reordered, and there is no choice of border, color theme or decorative frame.
- Everything is laid out as a single column on plain A4, and the photo sits top right within a fixed maximum size, uncropped to any portrait shape.
- The PDF is drawn with jsPDF's built-in Helvetica font, which lacks a glyph for the rupee sign and may not reproduce Devanagari or other non-Latin text as typed.
- Nothing is saved anywhere, so the downloaded file is the only copy of the biodata and any revision means filling the whole form in again.
